about

Here's a sneak peak single from my as-of-yet unnamed debut solo album.

Like most of my songs, this one's a true story. I went looking for horses in the Pyrenees and wore my shoes to smithereens in the process. I ended up finding archeologists instead of horses, but that's another story.

lyrics

Let me watch you one more time
Lay across this bed of mine
The curve of your copper spine
Fills my heart, it moves my mind
As I go up the mountain
As I go out the door

So long my love!

I wore these shoes down to the skin of their teeth
Looking for horses

I'll be back one summer day
Exactly when now I can't say
So you'd best forget my name, babe
No I don't think I'll be the same
When I come out the mountains
When I come out the hills

So long my love!

I wore these shoes down to the skin of their teeth
Looking for horses

about

Kesia Nagata Vancouver, British Columbia

Hello, my friend!

Thank you for listening to these humble tunes. I wrote them for you. I hope you like them, but I won't mind if you don't. They are mostly about the enormous and sometimes unbearable beauty of being, I think. Sometimes, they are about other things. Feel free to download them...for free! Please have a very good day.

Cordially yours,
Kesia M. R. Nagata
